Mercedes-Benz W124.036 500E-6.0 AMG EuroSpec - 1992
Welcome to my high quality and accurate 3D-model of 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E with a 6.0 AMG engine and AMG bodykit. The model contains of detailed exterior, interior, chassis, suspensions and drivetrain. For more pictures, please see it on my Artstation & Behance.
The model is 1:1 scale which has been created with real world scale dimensions in mm units, based on blueprint and studied the car in real life with measurements. Reflections stripes are smooth and linear. The model has the headlight, turn signal, and rear tail light lenses for realistic close-up effects, no need to UV-mapping anything.
The model can be used for photorealistic rendering effects, games, high-res film close-up, advertising etc. The model can also be used in real-time applications such as UE5 (Unreal Engine) after some work done on the customer’s side. The model can also be 3D-printed requires also work on the customer’s side.
The renderings shown on product previews are GPU based with CGI render in Cinema 4D 2023. If one uses with GPU will achieve much better realism.
Each object is categorized and grouped (null) to easily navigate thru each parts of the car. So you won’t feel lost in the list. Everything is also pivoted and corrected, if you want to switch, rotate, etc.
The model is only in Quad mesh and has Normals corrected. But no UV-mapping. All high quality textures and alphas are included for pictograms on buttons and gauge cluster. The gauge cluster has polygons text if one wishes as well. If you use Cinema 4D, all pictograms texture are in place. While in other software requires adjustment and UV-mapping.
The speakers and ventilation in Engine bay has material with alpha channel included.
The Radiators is unsmoothed box that has a simple material with alpha channel included.
For Cinema 4D versions features:
Exterior:
• All 4 doors can be opened with rotation.
• Bonnet (hood) is rigged with IK, which is animated in 2 settings, one for at approximately at 45 degree, and one for fully vertical (at 90 degree), exactly as in real life car.
• Trunk can be opened with rotation.
• Trunk lights can be illuminated
• Wheel control arms and steering rod are Ik-rigged.
Interior:
• The gauge cluster can be animated, each arrow is pivoted.
• Belt warning, Anti-spin warning can be animated.
• Interior lights can be animated and illuminated.
• Animated CD-screen on and off.
For other versions (OBJ, FBX):
Exterior:
All 4 doors can be opened, including trunk. But not the bonnet (Hood), wheel control arms and windshield/headlight wipers.
Interior:
• The gauge cluster can be animated, each arrow is pivoted.
• Belt warning, Anti-spin warning can be animated.
• Interior lights can be animated and illuminated.
Files:
The files will contain low poly (SemiRigged for C4D).
The low poly model has all Subdivision/MeshSmooth at 0, while doors and seats have Subdivision/MeshSmooth at 1 (Except for window doors which is at subdivision 0). Some lowpoly don’t need to smooth, which is also grouped/categorized.
The low poly is grouped under Subdivision Surface, u can control how much you want to smooth.
The materials such as car paint, plastic, rubber, glass transparency and chrome is not included in the project file. Just basic colors!
